Pierluigi Fedeli
I graduated in Particle and Astroparticle Physics at Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis on the electromagnetic crystal calorimeter of the Mu2e experiment. During this period, I was affiliated with the National Laboratories of Frascati and had the opportunity to spend 3 months as a Visiting Scientist at Fermilab, participating in international conferences and presenting my work. During my master’s degree, I gained experience in data analysis, simulations, and laboratory work.
I then began my PhD in Physics at the University of Ferrara in November 2024, where I aim to enhance my skills by focusing on crystal physics research.
What fascinates me the most about working with crystals is their endless potential to be applied across all areas of physics research. In fact, I believe that interdisciplinary collaboration between different research fields is essential, and I aim to build a network of contacts within the scientific community, both to expand my knowledge and to contribute meaningfully to ongoing research.
